Our Practice Nursing team is led by Gill Pugh (Nurse Manager), who oversees the team of  Ruth Parkinson (Chronic Disease Management Nurse), Alison Kent (Nurse Prescriber), Margaret Symonds (Nurse Prescriber) and Kim Willcox(Practice Nurse).

Our experienced team work closely with our GPs and other members of the     Practice team to deliver a comprehensive and caring service to our patients.  Whilst they each have individual specialities, they are all involved in Chronic    Disease Clinics and are available to offer help and advice on a wide range of health topics including minor ailments and injuries, wound and leg ulcer care, children’s immunisations, travel health and vaccinations, contraception and   sexual health, ear irrigation and health promotion.

In addition, our trained and experienced Healthcare Assistants are available for blood tests, blood pressure monitoring, ECG tracings, simple dressings and NHS Health Checks.  They also assist with minor surgery, administer flu and vitamin B12 injections and offer appointments for coronary vascular disease screening and assessment.
