Abbey Medical Practice will be holding an awareness event on Wednesday 20th February at Evesham Town Hall from 10am - 3pm.

It is an opportunity for members of the public to meet staff from many organisations within the Wychavon area and to listen to speakers for advice on legal matters, dental health, social services as well as taking part on other activities.

Part time Receptionist - 22 hours a week (worked over 4 days mix of both morning and afternoon shifts)
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our busy reception team on a fixed term contract to assist in covering maternity leave. you should be bale to work efficiently with good attention to detail, have strong communication skills, a customer service ethos and be able to work flexibly.
Duties include assisting patients both face to face and over the telephone, booking appointments, dealing with general enquirers and operating the practices administrative and computer systems
Starting Salary - £8.00 per hour

Becoming a Dementia Friendly Practice

Abbey Medical Practice has recently signed up to Evesham dementia action alliance to become recognised as a ‘Dementia Friendly Practice’.

To support this aim, Abbey Medical Practice is committing to an Action Plan that will make our Practice more accessible, as well as raising awareness of dementia and the range of support that is available locally.


New Worcestershire Prescribing Policys

Worcestershire CCGs no longer support the prescribing of certain medications including over the counter medicines (for example paracetamol and ibuprofen), gluten-free products, baby milk and specialist infant formula and oral nutritional supplements.

Our flu vaccination clinics run from 25th September, we have pre-bookable appointments and also some drop in clinics on a daily basis.

Extended Hours Surgery

A new extended hours surgery based at Evesham Community Hospital is now available to patients registered with Evesham, Breadon, Broadway and Inkberrow surgeries 

Appointments are available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, 18.30 to 21.00 and Saturday mornings, 09.00 -13.00
